25 hours/week; 1 full semester
Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 3-4:00 pm, plus 3-5 evening events throughout the semester.
All Associates internships are unpaid and housing is not provided. College credit may be granted, but must be coordinated in advance with the intern's university/college.

Operations and Administrative Assistant
Always Creating Weddings & Events is seeking a part-time Operations and Administrative Assistant to help with day-to-day operations. administrative and marketing tasks; requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, efficiency and multi-tasking. Qualified applicant must be a polished mature professional, very organized, detail oriented, and have pleasing, articulate and persuasive communication skills. Team Collaboration is a must.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business development, marketing or a related field preferred
Two/Three years of administrative and marketing or communications experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Mac and PC

OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
We are looking for a creative Operations and Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and operations support for the planning and execution of event planning and marketing. The Operations and Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting our weddings and events clients and prospective clients in delivering an outstanding customer service and events planning experiences. Ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking and able to multi-task; majority of the responsibilities will be administrative with some marketing related projects. The position is part time and requires at minimum two (2) office days (Monday – Friday) with flexibility for telecommuting. Candidate must commit to approximately 15-25 hours per week in our Sterling office, ideally spread out over two or three days.
Assist with day-to-day operations, customer service management, vendor management, inventory management, lite accounting, and direct customer/vendor communications.
Support the coordination of events and programming logistics such venue reservations, venue setup, ordering promotional items, greeting of clients.
Facilitate internal communication (e.g. distribute information, schedule presentations and client meetings).
Social Media Management -- the candidate will manage the day-to-day postings and manage our Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Track social media trends and monitor fan/follower feedback.
Oversee Website Updates -- ensures that our company website's content and functions support the brand; add/edit/optimize/cross-promote content, build forms, update blog / event calendars and facilitate registration as needed.
Regularly update events calendar, company blog, and Facebook page
Experience in event and décor planning, presentation skills and the ability to work within an energetic, creative, fast-paced and innovative environment is a requirement
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships, respond to client inquiries, follow-up on client calls, etc.

Must have strong communication and presentation skills, with an attention to detail and highly organized.
Entrepreneurial Attitude – Ideally, candidate will have experience building a digital audience through multiple online communication channels. Must be creative, resourceful, proactive, and adaptive.
QuickBooks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office experience would be a HUGE +
Ability to work part-time during normal business hours, this would be a good schedule for a person with children in school.
